Song of Vigilance

   This song counters the effect of sleep, including the Sleep Song. It
affects only oneself.  When this song is begun, the singer must make a
simple ward gesture before his eyes; after doing so, he may do as he
wishes while he sings.  Anyone may learn and use this song, whether
they have the Gift or not!  While the song is not greatly powerful, it
will usually enable an average person to resist sleep if he is against
doing so.  The song of vigilance only affects oneself.
